Play2Learn Kindy is a small boutique service located in Leeming, WA. We provide multiage care for children from 1 year upwards. Our focus is on social and emotional well-being, incorporating a holistic approach to learning.
Our service is looking for a Group Leader/Responsible Person whose job role is to:
Plan, supervise and implement an educational program incorporating a holistic view of each child according to the policies and procedures.
Understand, implement and lead others using the Early Years Learning Program and practices.
Understand the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with a focus on providing an excellent level of education and care to the children at the Centre-based service
Lead and mentor the educators in the room
Promote relationships with families
Lead and support educators in all areas of compliance.
Ensure a high standard of health and safety standards.
What we are looking for
A completed Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent).
Current/Valid Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) and relevant First Aid Certificates
Previous working experience in Early Childhood Education as a room leader.
Excellent communication and management skills
Understanding of early childhood development
The desire to make a positive contribution to a professional, collaborative and focused team
A love for children and a desire to make childcare a long-term career
Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care
Completion of First Aid and Child Protection Training, highly regarded
