About the Roles
We are looking for entry level Meat Process Workers to join our Rockhampton team. Based on your previous skills, you could be working in any of the following positions:
• Packing, labelling and other general food production.
• Product grading and sorting.
• Operating equipment and machinery such as packaging and loadout.
• Picking and packing, general labouring or forklift driving.
• Cleaning, quality and hygiene.
About You
Along with a “can do” attitude your skills and experience include:
• Full working rights in Australia.
• No experience necessary.
• Be willing to work in either cool or warm temperature environments.
• Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test.
• Be Q-fever vaccinated (or willingness to get).
What’s in it for You?
As a full-time, permanent employee, you will work a Monday to Friday roster of 38 or 40 hours per week. Shift times vary; however work may start at 6:00am, 3pm or 8pm, and finish at 3pm, 11:41pm or 5am.
• Our Production Labouring rates start at $27.59 per hour as per Teys Australia Central Queensland (Rockhampton) Production Employees Agreement.
• Roles will commence in July 2024 and long-term work will be available for a period of between 12 months and 4 years.
• Overtime available.
