We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production & Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production, fabrication, and installation of custom signage and associated frames for various industries, including mining, traffic control, and road safety.
Responsibilities:
Produce custom signage according to specifications provided by clients and internal design team.
Fabricate signage frames and structures for large print signage, ensuring durability and structural integrity.
Utilize cutting and laminating equipment to create high-quality signage materials.
Utilize tools and equipment for the building of medium to large wooden frames.
Installation of signage and frames at customer sites according to specifications.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely completion of signage projects.
Conduct on-site assessments and measurements to prepare for signage installation.
Install signage at designated locations, following safety protocols and industry standards.
Collaborate with clients and project managers to address any installation-related concerns or requirements.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and quality standards.
Requirements:
Must be living in Australia within easy reach to Wangara Perth WA
Proficiency in all aspects of carpentry, including measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing wood and other materials to construct structures and fixtures.
Proficiency in operating cutting, laminating, and framing equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot installation issues.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Valid driver's licence and clean driving record.
Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to signage installation.
Experience working with different materials commonly used in signage production (e.g.,wood, vinyl, aluminum, acrylic).
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Basic Certification or training in Carpentry.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Carpenter or in a Carpentry-related role.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
