We're seeking a highly skilled Communications Officer to join our corporate communications team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing multiple platforms, and promoting our brand and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
Mayoral comms, speeches, forewords, columns, interview preparation, media responses and enquiries
Develop and implement high-quality communications and marketing plans to achieve business objectives
Manage the council's brand and reputation through effective media relations and crisis management
Contribute to the development of corporate communications strategies and plans
Write and edit copy proficiently for corporate communications, including media releases, social media posts, and marketing materials
Design and implement digital marketing campaigns to reach diverse audiences
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery
Manage customer and media enquiries in a timely and professional manner
