About Us:

Ari Ari Korean Charcoal BBQ is currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional staff member to compliment and help lead the team in our restaurant.

Skills and experience:

We are looking for a mature and experienced staff member who has a passion for hospitality and is able to professionally supervise, train and direct staff as well as be pro-active in the on-going direction of the business.

· Desire to make an impact on customers and team member

· A can-do work ethic and the ability to take initiative on projects

· Ability to lead, motivated, and build an efficient team in a fast pace environment

· Strong leadership behaviours, approachability, and a reputation as role model

Duties and responsibilities:

· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth functioning of the restaurant

· Provide a positive dining experience for all customers

· Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard

· Ordering of stock from various suppliers

· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handing guidelines and licensing requirements

· Oversee the training and development of front of house staff

· Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus

· Updating menus and wine lists in conjunction with the chef and owner

· Recruit, hire, training and develop a high-performing team of employees

· Conduct regular inspections to assess food quality, presentation

· Handling customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally

· Manage pricing strategies to maintain profitability while remaining competitive

· Monitor sales and expenses to ensure financial targets are met

Requirements:

· Certificate in Hospitality Management is ideal

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

· Strong leadership and team management skills

· Exceptional customer service and communication skills

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
