Cleaning Solutions (Aust) Pty Ltd ATF CES Unit Trust, is a rapidly growing company looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team.
Our utmost goal it to ensure our customer expectations are met to the highest standard. Your role will require you to maintain accounting systems, ensure compliance with relevant legislation and requirements, whilst provide varying accounting services relating to the financial dealings of the company.
You will have the authority to recommend solutions and implement strategies to improve internal policies and procedures.
Your tasks and duties within your role will include:
· Preparation of financial statements including Profit & Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement.
· Preparation of distribution and management reports as and when required
· Assist in forecasting budgetary planning and accounting policies and assist in accounting policy formulation
· Maintain all accounts payable data in the system, collect, scrutinize and complete credit applications for new supplier accounts in line with company procedures
· Scrutinise financial statements for accuracy and ensure compliance with applicable Australian laws and regulations
· Determine accuracy of transactions and control/report on variances
· Present and accurately process all customer/supplier invoices in line with established procedures including accurate coding for applicable cost centers in the IFS ERP system
· Providing support for designing and preparing schedules for audit
· Examining the organizations operating costs, income, and expenditure to determine the company’s financial status.
· Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends
· Maintain current accounting systems and reviews and recommending modifications to improves practices and procedures.
· Comply with requirements set by accounting regulatory bodies of Australia
· Following procedures for finalising books of accounts including checking the veracity of the transaction from the bank, along with its supporting invoice or the receipts and passing end of year journals
· Preparing and assisting with the submission of BAS returns along with GST reconciliation
· Preparing payroll tax returns
· Using accounting software for internal control evaluation.
You will be expected to:
· Relevant industry qualifications or equivalent industry experience
· Analytical thinking, attention to detail, accurate reporting, ability to multi-task, work under pressure and work as part of a team
· Ability to identify issues and solve problems
· Proficiency in MS Office, email, CRM and ERP systems.
Job type – Permanent, full time
Hours – 38 hours per week
Salary: Minimum $70,000 plus superannuation
Work Authorisation: Permitted to work unrestricted in Australia
