We are seeking a seasoned Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team and make a significant impact.
About the Role
As the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our bustling restaurant. This full-time position involves various responsibilities, including:
Leading and managing the floor and bar team
Coordinating all shifts across a 7-day roster, including weekends
Ensuring superior restaurant and dining service for all guests
Maximizing revenue opportunities and maintaining cost control
Curating seasonal beverage lists
Overseeing the hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of staff
Maintaining high-quality customer service by fostering a welcoming atmosphere and addressing customer concerns
Managing day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness, organization, and inventory control
Monitoring and managing the restaurant's budget, setting menu prices, and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies
Collaborating with the chef to develop menus that reflect the restaurant’s culinary style and meet customer preferences
Planning and coordinating special events, private parties, and functions
Required Skills and Experience
Diploma of Hospitality Management plus 2 years' experience in a similar role, or 3 years' experience in a similar role
Strong communication skills and computer literacy
Excellent customer service skills
Attention to detail
Experience in training staff
Knowledge of wine, beverage service, and Italian cuisine
Ability to lead, train, and develop a team
A real passion for hospitality
