Burrows and Mayes Pty Ltd is seeking experienced chef to join our team. To be
considered for the position you must have extensive experience working in a busy
restaurant kitchen.
Responsibilities:
? Planning menus and estimating food and labour costs
? Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
? Preparing and cooking food
? Discussing food preparation issues with Managers and Kitchen staff
? Demonstrating techniques
? Enforcing hygiene regulations
? May select and train staff
? May freeze and preserve foods
Experience and Requirements:
? 2+ years experience
? Experience training, developing and mentoring kitchen teams
? Strong communication skills
? Willingness to lead and demonstrate passion cooking
