Key responsibilities The Pastoral Animators role is to assist the parish priests in the nurture, organisation and delivery of pastoral ministry. It is to network with parishioners, particularly in the Ashgrove and Newmarket communities of Jubilee Parish. The role is to empower them as members of the local Church so that they live as Disciples of Christ within the modern world. It is to minister with the Parish Priests and other Pastoral Staff in the conduct of the Churchs mission. It is forming parishioners to utilising their gifts for the co-creation of Gods kingdom. They will be responsible for:
Coordinating a range of Pastoral activities including pastoral care.
Coordinating Liturgical Ministries in some of the communities.
Be involved in adult faith formation, which will include working with the parish sacramental co-ordinator and RCIA.
