Purpose of your role

We're currently in the midst of a transformative journey, where we're realigning our website to better serve the needs of our B2B audience. In this crucial position, you'll become an essential part of our digital, website, and data team.

As a Full Stack WordPress Developer, you'll be instrumental in developing, customising, and maintaining our WordPress website. Your collaboration with our design, UX, marketing, and website production teams will be pivotal in delivering effective solutions.

What you do 

  • Develop custom WordPress themes, plugins, and functionalities to meet specifications and project goals.
  • Customise existing WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website performance, user experience, and design aesthetics.
  • Implement responsive and mobile-friendly designs to ensure optimal viewing experiences across all devices and screen sizes.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend website capabilities and enhance functionality.
  • Optimize website performance, speed, and security through code optimization, caching strategies, and best practices to ensure high speed and scalability.
  • Manage the deployment of code to production and other environments across multiple regions, ensuring smooth and efficient releases with minimal downtime.
  • Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring website functionality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to translate mockups and wireframes into interactive, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress development, and share knowledge with the team.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions.
