We are a public practice accounting firm based in Rockdale and Lakemba with our client base spreading across Australia. We are currently looking for an experienced & qualified Accountant being able to add value to our business. As a Senior Accountant, you should be able to analyse financial information, applicable tax regulations, monitor and train junior staff, manage clients, provide business consultancy, and prepare financial & tax reports. To excel in this role, you must have an in-depth understanding of accounting procedures and Australian Taxation complimented with an excellent communication and client relationship skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individual, partnerships, companies;
• Prepare Business activity statements, Goods and service tax, Fringe benefits tax returns;
• Bank reconciliation statement, cost analysis and process month end journals;
• Prepare and accurately submit end of financial year reconciliation;
• Manage tax planning and forecasting to be aligned with the tax strategy;
• Provide guidance to the business on tax compliance;
• Prepare financial analysis and report in meaningful way for clients;
• Prepare cash flows and profit and loss forecasts;
• Dealing with raw data & input into the software;
• Assisting our portfolio of clients with their accounting requirements;
• Manage the entire engagement process on selected clients, including negotiating engagement amount, managing, and completing the
work, exit interview and billing
• Update and maintain our client database;
• Advise client on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities;
• Liaise with ATO and ASIC on behalf of clients and opening ABN and ACN.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor degree in accounting,
• At least 2 years full-time experience working for an Australian public practice accounting firm.

. Preferred Bangali speaking skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
