Role: Metal Fabricator
Classification: Manufacturing and Associated Industries Award [MA000010], Level C14 V1
Rate: 40,000-60,000AUD/year
Ongoing full time position. (6 months or more)
Open Vacancy: 10
Work Schedule: Minimum 38hrs/week. Monday to Friday. Potential overtime available
Approx Start date - Early - Mid June 2024
Responsibilities:
-Joins metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting, and riveting.
-Cleans and smoothes welds by filing, chiseling, and grinding.
- Assist to fit and assemble fabricated metal parts into products, set up machining tools, production machines and textile machines, and operate machining tools and machines to shape metal stock and castings with supervision.
-Adhere to WHS guidelines
-Sound problem solving skills
-Good communication skills
- Potential to upskill through training pathways
