Fixed Plant Operator

Our Role We are looking for a Fixed Plant Operator to join our hardworking team at our Galong Plant (342 Eubindal Rd, Galong, NSW). The plant is a short drive from Yass, Young and Harden. Fixed Plant Operators are responsible for monitoring, controlling, and reporting the rates of feed to the kiln, temperatures, coal usage and quality, and combustion air volumes in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with company policies, procedure and guidelines. Fixed Plant Operators conduct the activities that enable us to extract limestone and process it into various products ready for sale to our customers. This position pays $65,500 to $66,500 per annum. Responsibilities: Successfully operate the kiln to produce lime by products (limestone, quicklime, and hydrated lime) using calcining, slaking and carbonation processes.
