About the role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic Guest Service Attendants to join our Alice Springs Guest Services Team. In this role your primary responsibility will be providing high quality service and experiences on our Ghan guests embarking on off-train tours within Alice Springs.
Responsibilities
- Providing guest service as a tour host and Ghan representative for our off-train tour experiences
- Greeting and assisting guests upon arrival and departure in Alice Springs, both on tour and at the terminal
- Provide on-board commentary, if required, throughout the tour
- Food and beverage service at terminal and on tour
- Operating the souvenir and merchandise area
- Housekeeping duties around the terminal
- Other duties as requested
About you
Candidates with demonstrated experience delivering high quality guest service in a front of house hospitality environment will be highly regarded. Local knowledge, a passion for Alice Springs and customer service. Outstanding presentation and communication skills are essential.
The shift patterns where you may be rostered are as below:
March - November
Monday: 12:30pm - 5:30pm
Thursday: 8:00am - 1:00pm
April - October
Monday 12:30pm - 5:30pm
Thursday - Alternating shifts: 8:00am - 1:00pm / 1pm - 10pm
Sunday - Alternating shifts: 10:00am – 1pm / 7:00pm – 10:00pm
