Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, and monitor actual performance against targets.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper financial controls and adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
Support the year-end audit process by providing necessary documentation and working closely with auditors.
Prepare financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial accounting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
