About the People Group @ Canva

Canva’s People Group has a big mission to build the most effective and engaged company in the world! Our success is finding, growing and empowering the best engineers, designers, product managers, growth marketers and operators to ship incredible products for our global design community.

We are looking for talented Individuals with skills across the below People specialities:

Shared Services Analyst

- Provide advice and support to our employees from pre-employment through to offboarding.
- Coordinate employee onboarding with various stakeholders to ensure new hires are set up for success.
- Ensure the highest level of data accuracy and data integrity within our HR systems.
- Generate and analyse HR reporting, drawing useful insights and offering recommendations.
- Liaise effectively and collaboratively with others to resolve employee queries.
- Maintain our self-service knowledge base to keep information up to date and relevant for employees.
- Drive operational excellence within the People Shared Services function by maintaining living and breathing standard operating procedures.
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide support to our people programs across all our global regions.


Learning Experience Designer

- Work with a diverse range of subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather and craft instructional content for our 12 skills and onboarding curriculum
- Use your instructional design background to craft compelling learning content, experiences and materials using a range of tools - predominantly the Canva app, video and e-learning tools.
- Digitise and transform our existing learning content into highly engaging, bite sized learning experiences, blended learning and playbooks.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to develop course curriculum, produce video content, build courses, and support/partner on course updates by providing insight and feedback on best instructional practices.
- Blend existing and new learning content into pathways and curriculums.
- Act as a thought partner to help Subject Matter Experts bring their content and expertise to life
- Analyse Instructor/course performance trends and translate these learnings into actions to meet both learning and business goals
- Manage our 12 skills learning curriculum to ensure it is constantly up to date and refreshed to provide the most impactful learning experience.
- Facilitate instructor led sessions when required both in person and webinar formats.
- Identify, track and analyse key course and learner metrics, and provide recommendations to constantly improve the experience.
- Manage multiple projects and moving parts with differing deadlines, keeping others on track and informed, and ensuring goals are clear and met on time.
- Upskill our internal facilitators and coaches where necessary.


Talent and OD Specialist

- Lead our biggest learning programs and support ongoing critical initiatives and cross functional goals within the team.
- Rally the team around program objectives, goals, metrics and milestones, with a focus on iteration and continuous improvement.
- Understand and interpret learner data to inform the direction and needs of the program.
- Build and lead our program management approach within Canva U, developing a streamlined process to manage, allocate and co-ordinate incoming and ongoing learning requests in the team.
- Work with our team, partners and learners to understand their biggest challenges, developing solutions to solve them and build efficiencies.
- Work with goal owners, cross functional teams and learning coordinators to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing.
- Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Drive and deliver against program goals and objectives.
- Work with instructional designers and learning leads to identify and report on the program data and metrics, using this to enhance the program experience
- Develop effective project plans and tracking mechanisms to ensure programs run smoothly and partners deliver in the required timeframes.
- Develop engaging and effective program communications.
