About the role

As a Desktop Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our internal users and resolving incoming queries and issues. You will be critical in managing any service requests related to computer systems, software or hardware.

Other key areas of responsibility will include:

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software and hardware;
• Manage and respond to service requests and incidents via the Service Desk tool either, in person, or over the phone. This may include but not limited too:
  • User onboarding and offboarding
  • Technical support

• Demonstrated leadership ability, including providing advice, support, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
• High level written and verbal communication skills.

• Working knowledge of the Disability Act 2006 (Vic) and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding framework, as relevant to the use and reporting of restrictive practices (Desirable).

The role of the Technical Delivery Coordinator is to maintain intimate knowledge of the clients’ environments and guide both our technical teams and our clients to deliver successful Business outcomes.

What you’ll do   

The Technical Delivery Coordinator is responsible for ensuring adherence to process and procedures by the team, coordinating their technical workloads to ensure that key client deliverables are met and are in accordance with agreed client SLAs.

You will also be responsible for dealing with, or escalating where necessary any standard and complex service request related issues that may arise in order to ensure successful client outcomes.

Some of the core responsibilities include:

• Preparation and presentation of reports
• Act as the conduit between projects team and BAU to successfully deliver projects into operation readiness
• Establish, Develop, and Maintain client relationships
• Deploy and deliver all consulting and delivery engagements in line with accepted best practices, automation, Datacom and Client delivery standards;

• Responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance of client’ IT environments
• Performing triage function(s) to determine if a request is standard vs complex
• Coordinate major change / major incident activity in conjunction with change and major incident management team
• Provide support to the Service Delivery Managers and Senior Service Delivery managers

We are a pretty agile company, and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders’ changing requirements and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs. 

What you’ll bring  

• Strong knowledge of technologies (e.g . Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google etc);
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
• Ability to facilitate technical discussions and coordinate troubleshooting efforts
• Ability to influence and lead technical conversations internally and with the client
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both a technical and non-technical format
• Ability to develop and document procedures for technical support processes
• At least 2 years’ experience in a technical role
• Ideally you will have experience working in a Managed Services environment and using ServiceNow

What’s the day to day like?  

• Be the main point of contact for customers on a daily basis by solving customer queries through Zendesk tickets, phone calls and other channels as necessary.
• Dispatch daily orders, ensuring successful delivery and keeping customers up to date
• Address any issues from customers and oversee day to day operations across the department such as organising returns and refunds and payment cancellations.

• Availability to work a set roster which includes one weekend day 
• You’re data and metrics-driven, you’re naturally inquisitive about what the insights tell us and use this to inform decisions. 
• Ability to work relatively unsupervised
