This innovative service is designed to support individuals with disabilities in securing and maintaining meaningful employment, aligning perfectly with our mission to empower and enhance the lives of those we serve.
About the Service:
Finding & Keeping A Job is tailored to assist NDIS participants with the entire employment process—from identifying suitable job opportunities to ensuring long-term success in their roles. Our approach is holistic and participant-centered, focusing on both the needs and aspirations of each individual.
As an EmployAbility Engagement Facilitator at Delegate Support Services Pty Ltd, you'll play a pivotal role in facilitating employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to identify job vacancies, engage with potential employers, and ensure that participants are matched with meaningful employment opportunities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Community Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with local businesses to identify employment opportunities for our participants.
Employer Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for employers, explaining the benefits and supports our organization can provide.
Participant Support: Assist participants in preparing for employment, including resume preparation and interview skills.
Event Planning: Organize job fairs and employment workshops tailored to the needs of our participants.
Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators related to job vacancies, employment matches, and participant employment success.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Required: Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in disability employment services, social work, disability support services, or related fields. Drivers License, NDIS Workers Screening & Blue Card. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. High level of administrative competence and proficiency in relevant computer applications. Must be empathetic, non-judgmental, and possess a strong customer focus.
Desirable: Strong understanding of the local employment market and the ability to identify potential job opportunities for participants.
Knowledge of NDIS framework, legislation, and procedures.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven ability to organize and coordinate events, and knowledge of the disability sector and employment services.
Location of Work:
The position is based in Goodna, QLD 4300, Australia. Our clients are based in Ipswich area.
Hours of Work:
The working hours for this role are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This schedule includes a 30-minute break each day, aligning with typical full-time work hours, ensuring a balance between professional responsibilities and personal time.
Remuneration:
The remuneration for this role is paid weekly and will be determined based on the candidate's experience. While the exact figures are to be confirmed (TBC), they will reflect the qualifications, skills, and experience the candidate brings to the role, as well as industry standards for similar positions in the sector.
