In this role you will embark on an exciting journey maintaining fuel product quality from the refinery gate, through distribution to customers and beyond to the customer tank. As part of the graduate experience, you will have an opportunity to:   

• Learn about and support the team on Product Quality (PQ) Standards, Manuals and Procedures 
• Record, investigate, and action PQ incidents to ensure that they are managed in accordance with standards
• Support fuels marketing initiatives and product launches and learn about local interfaces across Engineering, Operational and Sales and Marketing teams
• Learn about adequate processes to assure the quality of the bio components, renewable fuels, alternative fuels, and the biofuels in supply chain

Our Team

Our Airspace Mobility Solutions team creates, develops and deploys air traffic management systems that are critical for safe aircraft movement. With products covering 40% of the world’s airspace, we enable the safe take-off and landing of 2 in 3 aircrafts globally.

Your Role

In this role you will work between our Tullamarine and World Trade Centre (CBD) sites both based on Wurundjeri land. Working in this team you help create the foundation for our air traffic management system meaning you play a key role in delivering Thales airspace projects. 

Some of the cool day to day activities you are a part of include:   

• The delivery of a range of infrastructure-based projects

• Working on the automation of the SOE (Standard Operating Environment) and infrastructure/platform deployment using Infrastructure as a Code

• Reading and reviewing architecture diagrams

• Deployment and upgrades of the platform SOE

• Working cross functionally with various engineering disciplines to deliver solutions to our clients

Your Experience

What we value most from our graduates is a willingness to learn and the confidence to offer solutions, however the below will also come in handy

• Recently degree qualified in Computer Science, IT, Mechatronics, Software Engineering

• Linux is your operating system of choice and you also dabble with Python and Ansible (Infrastructure as a Code)
