Rest’s Investments Services & Transformation (IS&T) team are accountable for delivery of Strategic and BAU projects. This includes the design, delivery and embedment of end-to-end change across Investment Front Office and Middle Office ecosystem.  Our priority is ensuring change is aligned with our strategy and core business capabilities and delivering value to our members.

The Business Process Analyst will work closely with the Senior Business Process & Change Manager, Project Delivery Teams and impacted stakeholders across Investments to help define target operating models and embed changes in the business. This will involve systematically working through our current end-to-end business processes, identifying and articulating the changes required in how our processes work and aligning them to our future state target operating model.

The Business Process Analyst’s responsibilities include:

• Business process analysis activities targeted at documenting our current and future state processes
• Engage, inform and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements and prioritise them
• Experience in ensuring the adoption of new operating models, business processes, and systems
• Including but not limited to process maps; impact analysis documents, procedures, and user guides as required
• Work closely with Project Team members and Investment stakeholders to ensure the change and benefit is understood across stakeholder groups
• Translate process maps into high level documentation that can be shared with senior leadership to demonstrate change, benefits and alignment to strategy
• Work with Front & Middle Office teams to ensure all stakeholders are trained as required, assisting change manager(s) to understand the impact of the change to the business and provide input into the communications plan
• Use a critical eye to identify potential risks and issues in process design and mitigants to manage or resolve them

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in building the origination experience across our platforms. As a Business Analyst you will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to drive product and customer initiatives within our Originations tribe. This role will allow you to use your problem solving and analytical skills to deliver exceptional experiences for our customers.

• Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. 
• Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement to increase efficiency and productivity. 
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making processes. 
• Create clear and comprehensive business and functional requirement documents, process flows, and user stories. 
• Collaborate closely with scrum teams to ensure seamless delivery of initiatives, using agile practices to prioritise, build, release and iterate on product features.  
• Analyse and document existing customer experiences, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements. 
• Work collaboratively with the broader product delivery teams to shape and implement product releases. 
• Investigate issues and effectively communicate the resolution to stakeholders. 
• Conduct testing and validate platform features to ensure they meet technical and business requirements. 
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users when required. 
• Support the Product Manager to manage the backlog to ensure it follows the product roadmap and strategy. 

The Reporting and Data Analyst plays a crucial role by transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making. The primary responsibilities include collecting, analysing, and interpreting data from various sources. They create detailed reports, visualisations, and storytelling to highlight key metrics and trends, making complex data more accessible and understandable for stakeholders. This role often involves working with tools like SQL, Excel, and data visualisation software such as Tableau and/or Power BI.

In addition to reporting, data analysts delve deeper into the data to uncover patterns and insights that can inform strategic decisions. They perform tasks such as data cleaning, data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive modelling. By interpreting data within the context of business objectives, they help to identify opportunities for improvement, optimise
operations, and predict future trends, while maintaining a focus on data governance and quality. This dual focus on reporting and analysis ensures that businesses not only understand their current performance but also have business insights needed to plan and document.

A Reporting and Data Analyst in data and analytics typically has several key accountabilities:
