What you’ll do

The Governance, Risk and Compliance Advisor is to act as the subject matter expert and thought leader in establishing, governing, and managing information security activities within Datacom ACT.

Your key responsibilities as a Governance, Risk and Compliance Advisor are:

• Identify, develop and implement Security processes, standards and policies
• Work closely with our internal business units to ensure the application of security controls that meet Datacom and business requirements, and align to the Datacom Information Security Plan
• Work closely with our internal business units and clients to ensure adherence to Information Security Manual (ISM) and The Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
• On-going auditing, monitoring and improvement of security controls, including the development of Threat and Risk Assessments (TRA), System Security Plans (SSP), and Security Risk Management plans (SRMP).
• ISO27K framework and knowledge of building and running an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
• Providing guidance, education, and training to ensure adherence and compliance (people, processes, and technology)

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 3 years of experience in information security, audit, assurance, governance, risk or compliance and a sound understanding of information security principles, polices and standards
• The GRC Advisor must have a detailed knowledge of agency specific and Australian Government protective security policy, principles, and minimum standards, and be provided with opportunity to maintain this knowledge
• Some technical knowledge to make informed decisions about business risks from vulnerabilities
• Ideally, you will be industry certified and may even hold a CISSP, CISM, MS or equivalent certifications.
• Experience in developing and administering an information security program (desirable).

To be successful in this role:

• The ideal candidate is a diligent, empathetic, and driven individual who is motivated by their passion to assist others who are vulnerable members of the community
• Demonstrated experience in case managing individual clients or similar experience would be considered. We are happy to upskill a less experienced candidate with a "can do" attitude
• High level of communication skills and a "no judgement" approach
• Understanding of the complexities associated with situations of Hoarding and/or Squalor desirable but not essential
• Relevant qualifications in Allied Health, Nursing, Social Science or related field highly regarded

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a motivated and proactive Human Resource Advisor to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. This is an office based opportunity working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Come home each night and enjoy your weekends every week!

Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, this role will provide support and assistance with the administration of the day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties, assisting in the areas of onboarding, learning and development, performance management, recruitment and general HR administration. • Manage the recruitment and talent acquisition process and liaise with Senior Recruitment Partner (JB), management and external agencies as required;
• Coordinate work experience and industry programs;
• Prepare contracts of employment and employment related correspondence;
• Ensure new starter documents for setting up new employees is complete and accurate;
• Provide guidance and support to leaders on onboarding and induction programs for new employees;
• Oversee probationary period reviews including audits, reminders and confirmations;

What does the role look like? 

• Drive the development and execution of national safety strategies that align with ALDI's goals and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess safety risks, and propose ways to mitigate risk, within the workplace which includes applying current WHS policies, procedures and legislation.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders through consultation, training, facilitating workshops and development.
• Provide implementation support for projects and managing ongoing business as usual (BAU).
• Provide technical guidance and continuous support to senior management and the regional safety teams with respect to work health safety matters to prevent future occurrences.
• Ensure ALDI is compliant with all current legislative obligations and engaging in best practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced safety professional to support our regional operations working FIFO from Brisbane supporting sites in QLD & NSW. This a FIFO role on a 2:1 roster. his is your chance to join an organisation currently experiencing growth.  Salary $110,000 + super.  

About the job

Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager, you will work closely with site-based personnel, supporting safety activates such as, risk assessments, manage company and client-driven HSE activities, programs, drills and meetings. As the HSE Specialist you will undertake and support comprehensive incident investigations, comply with HACCP plans and train staff according to respective requirements. You will have the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement systems, policies and procedures. Bring your passion for safety to our team!

About you

You will have experience in a similar role, preferably working within the mining, civil or facilities maintenance industries in a senior capacity. Certificate IV Work Health & Safey is an essential qualification whilst a degree in Health and Safety & Certificate IV in Training and Assessment would be preferable for this role.  A current full Manual Driver’s license is mandatory in order to operate our site vehicles.

In addition to excellent time management and teamwork skills, a background working with trades occupations and exposure to Root Cause Incident Investigation or Esstentail factor investigations will lead to success in this role.

You will be someone who can easily build positive working relationships and foster engagement and motivation with HSE initiatives.
