• Contributing to audit strategy and planning activity, ensuring the plan is relevant to the needs of the business
• Developing effective stakeholder relationships at all levels in all areas of the business, including relevant third parties
• Delivering the day-to-day completion of audit activity in line with the Internal Audit Framework, including robust investigation, review and validation of wing-to-wing processes and control points, performing in-depth Test of Control (ToC) and Test of Effectiveness (ToE) exercises as evidence and clearly articulating audit findings and recommendations in a factual and insightful audit reports
• Provide independent and objective assurance over key business processes in accordance with the audit plan and key control testing plan or as directed by the Executive or the Board
• Support the Group in proactively and regularly reviewing business processes for continuous improvement, including documenting and reviewing processes and controls to ensure key risks are mitigated
• Monitor recommended and agreed remediation actions and follow-up as necessary to ensure risks are effectively addressed
• Preparation and Communication of audit status updates to key stakeholders, including status of open audit actions

• Be familiar with all enterprise system capabilities relevant to the Internal Audit function

• Practicable experience in Internal Audit, ideally within the fleet leasing industry, however strong candidates from risk advisory or broader financial services or banking sectors will also be considered
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent in audit and / or risk management disciplines, with demonstration of a strong understanding of corporate governance, risk management and assurance
• Experience with identifying, documenting and assessing risk and controls within the first, second or third line
• Strong understanding of Regulatory Compliance and Operational Risks impacting the fleet leasing industry
• Excellent attention to detail, presentation and communication skills
• Ability to think on your feet, self-motivated, forward thinking who thrives when collaborating with others to continuously improve the way we work
• Highly organised and energetic with excellent time management capabilities

The Account Management team is accountable for the client relationship, serving as the face of the partnership into the client and on behalf of the client back into Visa. In concert with the client and internal key stakeholders, we develop and execute on our joint strategy and annual investment plans.

Position Summary

This key position is a member of the client account team dedicated to one of Visa Australia’s largest and most important clients. The role is responsible for excellence in Visa’s overall service delivery with the client across portfolio management and customer engagement campaigns, portfolio data insights, as well as supporting the execution and implementation of our jointly agreed product and service initiatives. The role requires card issuing portfolio management experience as well as strong data, communication and program sponsorship expertise, underpinned by a solid knowledge of the payments industry and international payment networks.  The role will report to the head of the client partnership at Visa and will work collaboratively with the Visa and client teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate regular client portfolio reviews including agenda development and data insights/analysis.
• Manage, and drive when needed, the communication of service delivery activities between the client and Visa.
• Use data reporting tools to monitor portfolio performance and support the client to self-service through the Visa Analytics Platform.
• Manage the execution of Visa Loyalty Platform Services (VLPS) facilitated Issuer campaigns for the client, this involves being the conduit between the client and the VLPS team to ensure successful campaign delivery.
• Manage payment volume forecasting and alignment of the regular portfolio-level forecast with the client. Understand and resolve any misalignment.
• Ensure team compliance with internal client relationship management processes, procedures, and tools.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager/Project Engineer to join the Octopus Australia team in our Melbourne or Sydney office. 

The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the delivery of Octopus’s projects at all stages of the project lifecycle including origination/investment, development, construction and operation.

Our project managers/engineers are expected to:

• Manage the construction stage delivery of renewable energy projects, managing scope, program, budget and stakeholder engagement to achieve best for project outcomes.
• Provide engineering support to the wider business including:
  • Providing technical input into due diligence for investment processes.
