We are seeking a passionate and innovative Conference and Events Operations Manager to join our team on a 12 month parental leave contract.  This is a ‘hands on’ role and working alongside your team you will deliver exceptional service to our guests making their experience at the Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach “Magnifique”. 

The Role

• Ensuring conference, functions and events are operated in an efficient and profitable manner
• Ensuring team members are trained and competent in all service procedures to ensure a luxury guest experience 
• Ensuring the ordering and replenishment of all stock required for the efficient and smooth running of the department i.e. bar and floor.
• Liaising with customers and Chef/Kitchen brigade to ensure service times are adhered to
• Monitoring the financial results of the department, managing and forecasting wage costs and all other expenses
• Working closely with the Conference and Events team to ensure smooth transitions from planning to execution 

We are looking for a Guest Service Agent (Hotel Front Reception) to join our Front Office team on a Casual basis working 4-5 days per week. The Position:

We are currently seeking a Service Manager to join our team in Client Solution Centre Call team. In this role, you will be responsible to manage the Client Solution Centre Call Team who provides customer service and support to our clients and organisational team in the Disability Employment Service, Workforce Australia and Parents Next Contracts. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee a team of Client Solution consultants within your designated area, as well as all relevant KPI measures. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensure team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contractual obligations are consistently met and exceeded. 
• Establish and communicate clear direction for the effective operations of all locations / ESAs, set objectives and priorities, promote effective teamwork and innovative solutions. 
• Develop the capacity of your team to perform and contribute by providing leadership, supervision, coaching/mentoring, feedback and opportunities to learn through formal and informal methods. 
• Be accountable and transparent to the Operations Manager with respect to business risk, governance, contractual and financial performance.
