CPM is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our Asda Media Implementation team. As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing Field Colleagues and ensuring the successful implementation of point-of-sale (POS) materials, including stock and fixtures, within designated Asda stores. We are offering £X plus 10% company bonus scheme, company car, mileage, and other benefits!

A typical week as an Area Sales Manager will include:  

• Lead and manage a team of Field Colleagues, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure the successful delivery of client coverage and quality KPIs across all media propositions. 
• To ensure each colleague has the training and tools (both physical and mental) to deliver the role in relation to implementation guidelines, contractual procedures, and Health and Safety guidelines. 
• Ensure that new colleagues receive the right onboarding training and support. 
• Build productive working relationships with all colleagues, ensuring that all contractual procedures are adhered to. 
• To assess and review performance through store visits and reporting. 
• Drive continuous improvement, through effective and timely reviews and discussions with both colleagues and store management teams. 
• To communicate effectively with store management, ensuring excellent working relationships are developed and maintained via stores visits, telephone, or email. 
• To keep fully up to date on client businesses, objectives, and marketplace, to enable business focused discussion and proposal of proactive solutions. 
• Responsible for any other task identified by the line manager as falling reasonably within the scope and range of the position. 
• Responsible for continuous personal development, undertaking relevant training as and when appropriate.

What we need from you:  

• Field management experience ideally within grocery 
• Someone who loves to work in a fast-paced environment where every day is a new challenge! 
• Be available to work Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30. There is a requirement to complete a Wednesday evening shift once in every eight weeks (until 11pm). You will receive time off in lieu that week.

Territory covering: Leeds, Bradford, Derby, Doncaster, Huddersfield, Harrogate, Hull, Halifax, Lincoln, Nottingham, Sheffield, Wakefield, York and surrounding areas

We are seeking Sales Executives who have a passion and knowledge of power tools or a background within the electrical channel.

Take ownership of your territory and drive brand presence in your outlets and user engagement across the Stanley Black&Decker and DeWalt brands. If you have the passion to succeed it could well open doors to further exciting career moves in the future!

What will you be doing as a Sales Executive?

• Visiting electrical retailers in your territory such as CEF, REXEL, Yess Electrical and Edmundsons, representing the product range, maximising all potential sales opportunities for all brands

• Achieving sales growth across your territory, ensuring all sales opportunities for new products are maximised

• Implement any promotional deals, planning how best to promote them across your territory

• Continually grow your technical knowledge of the products and marketplace

• Be the ambassador of both brands by attending & supporting at key national events and end user events

• Build strong relationships with key customers to influence availability and visibility of products, gain incremental space and grow product listings in all outlets
