What you’ll be doing:

• Assist in the day-to-day supervision of the housekeeping team

Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring and motivating your team while ensuring they deliver professional, efficient, and consistent service standards. What you’ll do as an On-Site Representative/Fleet Supervisor: 

The On-Site Representative is responsible for providing quality transport and distribution services to the customer whilst maximising the profitability and productivity of the business. You will also coordinate the operations of the distribution fleet, operating out of the customers premises, and coordinate the sortation and preparation of stock to be forwarded. You will act as the key contact point for the delivery partners, customer, and their stakeholders for customer service or operational queries.

Typical duties responsibilities may also include (but not limited to):

• Ensure all deliveries presented by the customer each day are allocated to suitable vehicles
• Ensure the freight is presented to the drivers in required locations and check for damages
• Work closely with customer staff to develop efficiencies, meet KPI’s and improve the customer relationship
• Communicate allocation plans to stakeholders where required
• Coordinate backup vehicles where required

What are we looking for in an On-Site Representative/Fleet Supervisor? What’s important? 

• 2+ years experience in a similar role (as described above). You may also have had experience as a Fleet Supervisor and/or allocator, very transferrable skill-sets for this position
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work in a fast-paced/pressurised environment
• Exceptional delegation skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Join Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel as a full-time Restaurant Manager. This is your opportunity to manage the day-to-day operation of a successful Restaurant and Food & Beverage department. 

You will oversee all the aspects relating to the management of the restaurant operations; including financial forecasting, rostering, and implementing promotions to increase food and beverage sales.

We are currently looking for a Chef Supervisor to join our catering team at Alcheringa in Swan Hill, Victoria, on a full-time basis from Monday to Friday. Additionally, we have an opening for a Chef to work part-time on Saturdays and Sundays.

On a day to day basis this position shall report to the General Manager. Indirect reports shall include other organisational management representatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Menu planning in consultation with residents / representatives, dietitian, RN in Charge and General Manager to ensure adequate nutrition and hydration standards are maintained for residents.
• Maintain a record of residents needs, preferences and assistive devices and ensure these are provided.
• Documentation of recipes for menu dishes and special dietary requirements. Ensures recipes cater for cultural and spiritual requirements and for special occasions.
• Ordering of supplies, ensuring adequate supplies according to menu and budget.
• Documentation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Food Safety Program.
• Follow up on resident complaints and feedback.
• Preparation and cooking of meals according to the menu and Food Safety Program.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent.

As an Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for all aspects of safety, performance, and resourcing and team leadership for specified operational areas and/or operational processes. Please note hours – M-F, 5am-2pm.
