Assistant Restaurant Manager

Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring and motivating your team while ensuring they deliver professional, efficient, and consistent service standards. This is a hands-on role, where you will oversee the service of food & beverage, with a constant focus on providing excellent guest experiences while exceeding in your ability to train hospitality staff through tailored programs, staying updated with industry trends.

Furthermore, your duties will also include;

  • Ensure the service of food and beverage within the restaurant, room service, conferencing, and occasional residential catering are at a consistently high standard.
  • Aligning staff initiatives such as recruitment and training for maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure constant liaison with the Conference & Events Executive, Marketing Executive, and Head Chef in order to maximise F&B profits.
  • Liaise with customers and the kitchen team to ensure service times are adhered to and ensure a seamless operation between front and back of house operations and a positive working environment. 
  • Ensure guest billing is completed accurately following Hotel procedure and that correct charges are posted.
  • Set up systems to protect and maintain control of restaurant and conference service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry our regular stock takes.
