About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, experienced Fitter (General) with an eye for precision to detail. You will be responsible to work within relevant safety procedures, guidelines to ensure a risk-free work environment. You will be working closely with other departments at Plasser Australia to deliver customer excellence.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Assembly/Disassembly of hydraulic components (valve blocks /hose assemblies)
• Fabricate/manufacture hydraulic components to ensure optimal machine performance
• Manufacture hydraulic circuits using information taken from engineering drawings
• Works closely with team leaders and team members to achieve necessary work requirements.
• Attention to Detail - responsible for meeting work standards and ensuring all quality requirements are met.
• Supports daily manufacturing work schedules, meeting all goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Organize and clean equipment on a regular basis.
• Monitor inventory level of materials to notify supervisor of stock shortage.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment always.
• Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a larger team.

Qualifications

• Trade Qualification with a minimum 5 years plus experience heavy equipment or mining.
• Forklift, dogging, elevated work platform and working at heights are highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with previous experience working with heavy equipment.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Must have the ability to read engineering drawings.

Your Experience

Debt Advisory
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar, with a strong academic record and ability to commence / continue relevant post graduate studies (CFA, CA, Master’s in Finance)
• Preference for current experience in securitisation transactions from a client facing role within a major Bank, Advisory firm, Investment Bank or commercial environment
• Ambition and passion for a career in the commercial environment and corporate finance.
Transaction Services
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar, with a strong academic record and ability to commence / continue relevant post graduate studies (CFA, CA, Master’s in Finance)
• A degree in Commerce or Finance and/or a professional accounting or finance qualification is expected and one to three years’ experience in a valuation or similar commercial environment will be beneficial
• Transactions Services or Audit experience is highly advantageous.
Valuations
• Experience in excel-based financial analysis and advantageous if you have financial modelling capabilities
