About the role

Working from our iconic and world class Vineyard in the heart of Whitlands, we are looking for a Vineyard Manager to join our team. A key site for CHANDON; the Whitlands vineyard produces some of Australia’s highest quality sparkling wine grapes. We are looking for an equally high-quality candidate to elevate and enhance our viticulture team.

In this position you will:

·         Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of vineyard operations in Whitlands.

·         Lead a team of dedicated workers and collaborate closely with winemakers and viticulturists to ensure the production of premium grapes for our wines.

·         Strong understanding of viticulture practices, leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality.

·         This is a ‘hands on’ managerial role, where you will be required to operate vineyard machinery. This includes but is not limited to; Tractor with vineyard implements, grape harvester, and ATVs.

·         Ensure all vineyard plant and equipment is always maintained and in top working order.

Requirements

For your application to be considered, you must have:

·         Experience in viticulture with a genuine enthusiasm for wine and viticulture.

·         A tertiary qualification in viticulture [or a closely related field] is preferred.

·         Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a small, but dedicated team to achieve the high-quality outcomes expected.

·         Effective communication skills are imperative to success in this role; the ability to communicate well and foster strong relationships, both internal and external, will be highly regarded.

·         A strong understanding of work health and safety procedures.

·         Must have tractor operations experience.

·         Mechanical ability and understanding are highly desired traits for this role.

·         A ‘can do, will do’ attitude - the ability to be self-sufficient and work well autonomously.

·         Understanding of LEAN manufacturing practices/principles will be advantageous.

·         Flexibility, and the ability to work overtime subject to seasonal requirements.

·         Valid driver’s license.

The IT Change and Release Manager will be responsible for leading the assessment, analysis, documentation, and implementation of changes based on requests for change for IT Services that include infrastructure and application services.

The role will develop and implement change management practices to ensure that there are minimal disruptions and that operations are maintained across clients’ accounts and improved to meet customer requirements.

The role requires the assessment and analysis of change components, change scheduling and the adoption of appropriate controls. Additionally, the role will also coordinate communication with stakeholders, project teams and customers stakeholders regarding changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the validation of incoming Requests for Change (RFC) and provide assurance over all stages of the unified Change Management Process and sub-processes, including the completion of impact analysis and change evaluation processes to ensure activities are in accordance with defined processes. This includes being available to manage the review, evaluation, and approval of Urgent or Emergency changes.

• Coordination of patch management, release, and deployment activities.

• Oversee and co-ordinate all activities within the clients change process across all IT Services, monitor changes through all stages of the change lifecycle, working collaboratively with client change managers or stakeholders involved to exchange information and drive change management outcomes.

• Plan, schedule, and maintain the forward change schedule, confirm that all changes have been successfully implemented, patch management and any required Post Change Reviews (PCRs) are carried out for failed changes.

• Manage communications to all affected groups for Change Management.

• Negotiate and agree standard classification (prioritization and categorization) for changes, facilitate the process and manage change management procedures and policies to ensure alignment with the clients Change Management process.

• Provide assurance over change requests, attend any client Change Advisory Boards. Provide guidance and approvals for major changes or releases to be approved.

• Create and maintain the Change Management process documents (flow charts, roles and responsibilities, knowledge articles etc.) to be used by the Change Management team and 3rd party suppliers. Analyze and identify improvements and encourage the development and implementation of “pre-approved changes” to streamline regular, repeatable low risk changes.

• Proactively identify and escalate potential risks. Contribute to the development of risk management plans, establishment of risk controls and performance of risk mitigation activities.

• Qualifications in IT, business administration, commerce, change management is desirable.

• ITIL certification or relevant years of experience as a Change Manager.

• Previous experience in ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) projects and environments and knowledge of ITS systems, equipment and roadside/tunnel devices is a plus.

About the Role (your why)

As Manager – Risk & Resilience, you’ll be responsible for components of the risk program implementation and ongoing administration of Datacom’s Risk, Continuity, and Compliance practices, to our Federal Government customer base, aligned to ISO 31000 standards.

What you’ll do

As Manager – Risk & Resilience, you will cover:

•       Assisting the business to embed Risk Management into decision-making activities

•       Implementation and management of the risk management framework, including supporting the business with procedures for identifying, assessing, and managing risks

•       Embedding a risk aware culture and supporting collaboration to manage shared risks

•       Regularly reviewing the Risk Management approach

•       Driving accountability and ownership – by providing guidance to staff on their specific risk management responsibilities

•       Business Continuity Management oversight, including business impact assessment and business continuity planning and testing

•       Governance of the risk management framework and its implementation

•       Building an assurance plan to:

o   Implement appropriate controls and oversight of the business’ risk management activities

o   Ensure Risk Management alignment to policies and the execution of all relevant plans and actions

o   Review and auditing controls to ensure business process, contractual, and legislative compliance

•       Delivering reports to leadership and our customers regarding risk and resilience.

You’ll maintain a detailed understanding and contribute to improvement of the relevant frameworks, processes/ procedures and artefacts across the business, while working in an advisory capacity and assisting in customer discussions regarding our plans as required.

What you’ll bring

You’ll bring a wealth of Risk Management experience and an understanding of ISO 31000 standards and applicability, ideally within an IT managed services environment or with federal government customers. You’ll be passionate about risk management and advisory, be comfortable working on complex issues and managing a diverse stakeholder group. You will have experience administering risk management and advisory processes; along with developing, implementing, and administering Business Continuity Management processes. Ideally you will have an RMIA certification, or something similar.
