About the Role (your why)

The Cloud Platform Specialist is primarily responsible for the management of the Datacom Cloud with a relentless focus on continuous improvement of cloud operations and associated delivery leveraging agile methodologies. The role will deliver a professional technical engineer with responsibilities across a broad range of technologies. They maintain knowledge of the technologies deployed as well as up to date professional certifications to ensure the delivery of an exceptional service

Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Please note that to be successful in this role you will need to be an Australian Citizen and be eligible for Baseline/ NV1 Security Clearance

What you’ll do

At the moment, as Cloud Platform Specialist you will be focused on delivering technical solutions for clients utilising the Azure platform, managing operational Azure environments, and providing technical solutions with a focus on automation whilst ensuring strong relationships with our customers.

You will also have experience with the following toolsets and methodologies:

• Azure Certification – Professional level
• DevOps & Automation
• CI/CD methodologies
• Agile

What you’ll bring

This is an excellent role for a people person who is passionate about new technologies and producing excellent solutions for our client needs. You’ll already have 5 years IT experience and will be able to talk to us about how you’ve grown and kept up to date with the latest and greatest over that time. You will have knowledge of enterprise datacenter technologies and automation technologies. Ideally you will have technical leadership experience or qualities to really shine in this role.

We are keen to hear about your proven technical track record in delivery of complex hybrid cloud and or public cloud delivery. Your relationship building and communication skills will be a strength.

As the ANZ Vendor Specialist, you'll be responsible for liaising with customers, external Debt Collections Agencies (DCA), and customer service teams to facilitate collections activity and  reduce losses in accordance with our company guidelines and Australian & New Zealand Regulatory requirements such as BNPL code, DCGs, ASIC, Privacy Act, CCFA and more. 
 

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining relationships and liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as third-party collection’s vendors.

• Accountable for completion of applicable outsourcing activities on all steps of the lifecycle of the outsourcing agreement and ensuring that any regulatory requirements relating to outsourcing are met.

• Driving performance to ensure ongoing improvement and collection efficiency.

• Facilitating annual DCA Audits and identifying, evaluating, monitoring, and escalating third-party risks to the business as and when needed.

• Facilitating Monthly, Quarterly Governance meetings and participate in DCA Call Calibrations sessions.

• Coordinating and managing changes to supplier and third-party management processes driven by policy, regulations, or improvement opportunities.

• Managing and monitoring contracts inclusive of service level agreements (SLAs) of third-party collection’s vendors.

• Complete Collections reporting requirements as per Global Collection Oversight Framework.

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Credit risk, finance, Legal & Compliance, Security and Privacy, operations, and customer service, to set targets, streamline collections processes and enhance efficiency in line with overall business goals.

• Manage and record third-party collection’s vendors incidents and report to internal stakeholders.

• The Customer Experience Specialist is primary responsibility is to provide a ‘best in industry’ experience when dealing with all customers (internal and external) through adhering to the customer practices, being authentic, empathetic, engaging, risk aware and doing what you say you’re going to do.
• The Customer Experience Specialist is pivotal in focusing on first call resolution for our customers and advisors within each interaction. This experience will apply to all TAL product lines (Retail, Direct and Investments) and as you put yourself in the customer’s shoes, you will be the smiling face of TAL.

Reporting into the People Services Team Leader, this role is dedicated to delivering first-rate support and administrative services to our employees based across Australia and New Zealand. 

You will join our tight-knit and high performing People Services team based in Melbourne on a 9 month Fixed Term contract. You will be focused on delivering support for a variety of Human Resources activities, with an emphasis on core people processes related to attraction, development and retention of employees, query resolution and policy advice.

What will a day in this role look like:

• Ensure accurate processing of people transactional services, focusing on domestic assignments and leave arrangements.
• Support the HR systems team with system enhancements.
• Collaborate with our Global Business Services team as well as the local People Services team to share knowledge and ensure a broader understanding of the function.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to our internal stakeholders.
• Effectively operate in accordance with governance, processes, policies, agreed performance targets and service level agreements.
