Vinstar Aus Pty Ltd T/A Rumerz Tavern is included two main business activities which are Rumerz Tavern Bottleshop trading package beers and variety of alcoholic products and Rumerz Bar (Bistro bar) specialising in bar and hospitality services. We are independently owned and managed and are committed to providing the highest possible level of retail convenience and hospitality services - including bistro bar, food services, and a wide range of alcoholic products available in our enormous bottleshop.
To achieve the new growth and development’s goals, we are looking for one marketing officer at our Ballarat office to promote our retail and hospitality services to a wider local resident.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The marketing officer will be reporting direct to the CEO, this role is suitable for a marketing/communications professional and has direct responsibility for the followings:
Identifying and analyse our business strengths and weaknesses, and respond to opportunities and threats in the marketing environment.
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers and sale reps and brand ambassadors from our major suppliers including Carlton United Breweries and Liquor Marketing Group to understand marketing requirements and goals of our businesses.
Liaising with other vendors, suppliers, sale reps and brand ambassadors to execute products brands, product activations and promotions.
Planning and creating marketing campaigns to meet marketing strategy requirements of our businesses and Bottlemart brand.
Determining an approach to pricing and price set for our products and services in the marketing environment to make sure it keeps on track and stays ahead of competition.
Advising on the implementation of plans regarding new products, new product ranges, product portfolio and seasonal products such as winter products, summer products, Christmas and New Year product ranges.
Advising on the development of new and existing products and services.
Advising on the implementation of plans regarding new and existing products display, products display on specials and promotions.
Planning and organizing advertising policies and campaigns including Bottlemart brand and products and portfolio activations, fortnightly specials, products’ clearance, in-store promotions and specials.
Advising and managing social media including 'Facebook Business Page', ‘Instagram Business’ and 'Google My Business', and associated analytics.
Planning, undertaking, and developing digital advertising campaigns on social media such as Google ads, Facebook and Instagram ads to support sales objectives of our businesses.
Analysing and collecting data regarding consumer patterns and preferences as well as interpreting and predicting current and future consumer trends to support our business’ growth and development.
Writing and updating digital content for social media and google my business page.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
A Bachelor level qualification in marketing/communication, and at least 2 years’ experience within FMCG, Food & Beverage, Hospitality or similar is required.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and marketing strategies.
Experience and strong understanding in social media platforms and analytics tools highly regarded.
Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
Team player mentality and ability to work as part of a team.
Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
Passion for the FMCG, Food & Beverage, and hospitality services .
Basic graphic design is preferred.
