About the role

Our Engineering Project Team is expanding..!!!! We require a permanent Project Scheduler to join the team in Sydney/Brisbane. Reporting to the Global Head of Project Delivery, your role will ensure the successful planning, coordination, and execution of projects within specified timelines. You will be a strong and confident collaborator who can work with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain project schedules, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies. \

• Collaborating with project managers and team leads to develop comprehensive project schedules that align with organizational goals and client expectations.
• Utilizing project management software to create, update, and maintain project schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Facilitating interactive planning sessions with cross functional teams
• Working closely with resource managers to allocate and optimize resources effectively to meet project requirements.
• Identify potential resource constraints and propose solutions to ensure smooth project progression
• Proactively identifying and assessing project risks that may impact timelines or deliverables.
• Developing contingency plans and work closely with project teams to implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Developing and delivering risk assessments using proven methodologies such as Monte Carlo and communicate to engineering
• Facilitating regular communication among project teams to provide updates on project timelines, milestones, and potential issues.
• Preparing and distributing project schedule reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and upcoming milestones.
• Evaluating and refining scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Staying abreast of industry best practices and incorporate relevant advancements into project scheduling methodologies.

• Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Scheduler or in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry
• PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
