Reporting to the Helpdesk Manager, you will build your product knowledge by resolving product, software and related environmental issues as reported by our clients in a high-volume, transactional environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Provide excellent customer service whilst resolving LEAP product queries in an accurate and timely manner
• Answer general client software and hardware queries
• Action inbound and outbound calls as assigned to achieve daily KPIs
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve application issues
• Capture notes using standard notes template in CRM, including recording detailed information for all calls requiring further escalation
• Maintain LEAP software knowledge against the capability matrix

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Qualifications (or progressing towards qualifications) in accounting or law
• A proven record and passion for providing excellent customer service (preferably within a professional services environment)
• Proven ability to manage high-volume, transactional calls
• Competent in MS Office

What You’ll Bring

You’ll bring expertise developed over 5+ years in a Software Asset Management role as you will be undertaking a range of interesting activities relating to software licensing, audit, and compliance management on behalf of our customers. You will also be supporting the delivery of the Software Asset Management (SAM) managed services and projects for multiple customers from Commercial and Government industries.

You will have advanced critical thinking skills, an ability to interpret and apply logical decision making to a variety of data, and you must be able to deliver your analysis, findings, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

Your ability to work with other members of the SAM and customer management team to develop and deliver quality solutions for our customer is critical to the success of our SAM Consulting and Managed services.

This role can be based out of any Datacom office in Australia. Australian Citizenship is essential for Federal Government security clearance requirements. Preferably, you'll be a holder of either a current or lapsed Baseline clearance or higher.

What You’ll Do

In this role you will work collaboratively with other Software Asset Management (SAM) team members, Software Licensing Consultants, and Customer account teams. Essentially, the Software Asset Management Consultant will:

• Act as Consulting SAM Subject Matter Expert for our customers.
• Deliver SAM Consulting services relevant to today’s changing technology landscape and market demands.
• Deliver Compliance Reviews (Effective Licensing Position) for Customers.
• Review current software licensing Terms and Conditions, License Agreements, and License Contracts to identify any breaches or risks for our customers.
• Apply knowledge of licensing rules and use rights within SAM Consulting Services.
• Analyse, document, and present licensing modelling recommendations.
• Identify license reclamation opportunities to achieve cost avoidance outcomes.
• Propose remediation and optimisation activities that may result in reduced compliance risk and/or financial savings and cost avoidance outcomes.
• Contribute to the achievement of project outcomes while managing compliance and commercial risks for customers.
• Provide quality customer service through adherence to Datacom’s Asset Management service delivery methodology and processes.
• Utilise SAM technologies and their capabilities including Flexera’s FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS) and/or Snow License Manager.
• Interpret data outputs from the SAM technologies and other tools to provide accurate and timely reporting.
• Liaise with service management, and customer teams to define, optimise, and develop SAM standards, processes, procedures, plans and controls to ensure appropriate service asset information is recorded and maintained.

Reporting to the Sales Director, your role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new prospects who have a need for LEAP’s services, building and nurturing relationships with prospects. Your Impact

• Perform reactive incident response functions including but not limited to
  • host-based analysis functions through investigating Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X systems to identify Indicators of Compromise (IOCs)
  • Examine firewall, web, database, and other log sources to identify evidence and artefacts of malicious and compromised activity
  • Investigate data breaches leveraging forensics tools including Encase, FTK, X-Ways, SIFT, Splunk, and custom Unit 42 investigation tools to determine source of compromises and malicious activity that occurred in client environments
  • supported by senior team members, undertake incident response engagements to guide clients through forensic investigations, contain security incidents, and provide guidance on longer term remediation recommendations
  • Provide mentorship of Incident Response Consultants in incident response and forensics best practices
• Working with practice leads to scope, schedule and deliver engagements end-to-end
• Report generation that clearly communicates investigations and assessment details, results, and remediation recommendations to clients
• Provide recommendations to clients on specific security measures to monitor and protect sensitive data and systems from infiltration and cyber-attacks including response and recovery of a data security breach
• Contributing alongside practice leads to the continuous improvement and innovation of our services based on key drivers such evolving technology, threat landscape, regulatory requirements, lessons learned, industry standards and client requirements
• Assist in the development of, and ongoing maintenance of internal infrastructure for research, development, and security testing
