What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager. You will ensure the highest possible standards of efficiency in the Housekeeping Department. You will be hands-on and assist in providing daily coordination and support to housekeepers and task allocation. You will complete a range of tasks relating to park housekeeping, including:

• Ensure accommodation and venue areas are cleaned and serviced to NRMA Housekeeping Standards.
• Organising, supervision, training and recruitment of staff (when required to support the Housekeeping Manager).
• Planning of daily room requirements, servicing, pre-arrival checks.
• Observation of the park cleanliness and facilities.
• Maintain good communication with other departments and your housekeeping Team.
• Maintain adequate stock levels and ordering in collaboration with the Park Manager
• Be receptive and proactive in solutions to guest feedback

What you’ll bring:  

• Experience as a Lead, or experienced Housekeeper in a busy hospitality environment is preferred, however candidates with the right skills and attitude will also be considered;
• Passionate and team-oriented with a "lead from the front" mentality
• Outstanding customer service skills
• A suitable level of fitness with a flexible approach to workloads and a can do attitude
• Ability to work in a team or autonomously;
• Demonstrated flexibility and reliability as the role will be working across a 7 day rotating roster that includes weekends;

The Cleaning Manager is responsible for ensuring the continuity of quality of cleaning standards across the site. They  act as an internal consultant to provide strategic and practical advice to improve contract performance and mitigate under-performance within the housekeeping and cleaning service streams. The role will provide specialist review, direction, training and actionable support to operational levels of the Sodexo management team

Requirements of the role will include but are not limited to: 

• Lead housekeeping and cleaning service performance discussions in team meetings
• Drive agreed housekeeping and cleaning service performance across the Fortescue Operational Portfolio
• Drive ongoing review and development of streamlined work practices for the Site based teams and ensure they are standardised across Sites
• Design and facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, meetings, and reviews to optimise housekeeping and cleaning service performance and risk management.
• Manage and engage tools and methods to sustain performance
