About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor (Day Shift) to join our site in Morwell. Responsible for up to 24 team members over 4 crews, managing the warehouse operations. Other responsibilities include managing external transport of finished product to 3PL providers, receiving deliveries from other sites and suppliers, waste removal and managing our Forklift fleet. The Supervisor will essentially manage logistics warehousing and distribution operations to ensure an efficient and cost-effective operation. The role will also provide the first point of contact for warehouse related Safety, People, Operational, Quality, Service, and Cost issues.

Utilising your previous experience of leading teams, you will identify opportunities to develop your people and continuously improve the operations.

Other responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with national and site safety systems, procedures and policies to ensure that daily operation is in a safe work environment

• Ensure the timely despatch of product to meet customer order requested delivery dates and time windows to support and improve the achievement of DIFOT

• Establish and implement the daily Dock schedule. Report daily on adherence to schedule.

• Ensure co-ordination of transport resource requirements to match daily dispatch schedule

• Liaise with Transport providers to ensure Daily dispatch and transport plans are managed and maintained

About you

• Hands-on leadership experience and ideally working in a FMCG Supply Chain environment or cold-chain networks

• Background in safety systems & programs, cold chain compliance metrics

• Experience developing and training staff in best practice processes

• DC, storage, warehouse, or transport management

• IT system knowledge TMS/ WMS or SAP will be highly regarded.

Moderna is seeking a Day Shift Manufacturing Supervisor, Drug Substance for our state-of-the-art mRNA vaccines production unit at our Resilience Site in Australia. This role is pivotal in managing production timelines, ensuring cGMP compliance, and overseeing health and safety regulations. You will be instrumental in the technical ramp-up of manufacturing processes and be required to demonstrate digital proficiency and operational leadership.

Here's What You’ll Do:

Within 3 Months, You Will…

• Enforce safety procedures and Moderna’s guidelines, ensuring compliance with local HSE requirements.

• Start fostering a collaborative relationship with the Night Shift team.

• Develop batch records, SOPs, and training materials for various phases of commercial programs.

• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team for the timely disposition of commercial batches.

Within 6 Months, You Will…

• Establish robust processes for Batch Disposition.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Typically, 5-7+ years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical engineering, Biomechanical engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical engineering, Biochemistry or related field preferred

• Proven track record of success in a fast-paced production environment at a biotech/pharmaceutical company preferably in GMP

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at our Melbourne Port Terminal in West Melbourne in a full time Maintenance Electrician position. Reporting to the Asset & Maintenance Manager, the role is responsible for the electrical maintenance of new and existing assets and equipment. The work is varied and there will be the opportunity to provide input and feedback on the maintenance plan.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking planned and preventative electrical maintenance works with some minor capital works
• Inspecting all Electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards and defects to ensure compliance with Australian Standards
• Analysing, diagnosing and repairing faults in critical plant and equipment 
• Working safely in accordance with LDC's safety principles
• Assisting in the development, maintenance and use of safety systems within the maintenance department
• Registering work orders on the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Working closely with the maintenance team and supervising peers and contractors when needed.
• Working with contractors and other external service providers and reviewing their performance and ensuring that effective relationships are maintained
