Job Description We currently have a new position for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our Engineering Team on AFTERNOON shift (1.00pm to 9.06pm). Based at our state of the art manufacturing facility at Banyo, the role of the Maintenance Electrician is to support the maintenance and production teams by providing quality and efficient maintenance services during planned maintenance, breakdowns and the deployment of new plant and machinery. Maintain, control and diagnose FMCG machinery such as high speed fillers, mixers, conveyors, sensors, hydraulics, robotic machinery and packaging machines. Troubleshooting electrical faults, production breakdowns, production start-ups and operating settings using PLC programming Planned maintenance and using systems such as MEX Working with electrical wiring and diagnosing Identifying and participating in continuous improvement initiatives and projects Working a Set roster - afternoon shift (1.00pm-9.06pm) with the possibility of overtime on alternating weekends What you need to have: A current QLD Electrical qualification At least 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Electrician working in a 24/7 FCMG environment Working experience with MEX will be highly regarded Experience in the areas of planning, organisation and customer focus A current CPR and low voltage electrical rescue certificate Confined Space, Working at Heights and EWP certification would be advantageous but not essential Excellent communication skills, initiative and be a strong advocate of team work A CAN DO ATTITUDE – you love…
