Key Responsibilities:

• Undertaking the design, engineering and documentation for façade and build-ability consultancy inclusive of detailed engineering calculations, analysis, drawings, and specifications.
• Reviewing contractor submissions, show drawings and calculations.
• Façade engineering design and buildability consultancy, including material knowledge and installation techniques.
• Assisting in preparing tender submissions.
• Liaising and coordinating with the design/project team and other disciplines within Inhabit as required.
• Building relationships with clients on projects and develop contacts within the façade industry.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Clayton, Melbourne. In this role, you'll be pivotal in supporting the operation of our state-of-the-art Drug Product (Fill Finish) GxP manufacturing systems. With systems ranging from Allen Bradley PLCs, Siemens PLCs, Wonderware System Platform, AVEVA Historian, Apprentice MES, to OSIsoft Pi, you will use your automation expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, directly contributing to the production of therapies that could transform the lives of patients worldwide.

Here’s What You’ll Do

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Leading roles during construction, CSV/CQV, and delivery of the manufacturing facility.

• Troubleshooting complex issues within our GxP manufacturing systems for smooth and efficient operation.

• Coordinating maintenance activities across systems and teams to ensure continuity and quality.

• Maintaining and sustaining compliance culture in solution design and operations.

Your responsibilities will also include:

• Engaging and educating business owners on the capability and functionality of solutions.

• Coordinating validation activities in collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, Validation, and QA.

• Developing and maintaining GMP system documentation and managing compliance activities.

• Leading investigations, CAPAs, deviations, and change controls, supporting audits, and performing administrative duties as required.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technology discipline.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the biotech or related industry.

• Strong knowledge of computer systems validation and GMP regulations.

• 2+ years of experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Wonderware System Platform

• Experience working in an operational GxP facility, demonstrating a strong understanding of the regulations and standards in this environment.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in Drug Product manufacturing operations such as Formulation, Aseptic Filling, Packaging and Serialization

• Experience in dealing with multiple projects and working in a multi-disciplinary team, managing multiple tasks/assignments with staggered due dates and deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to make crisp decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and build collaborative relationships with colleagues and business partners.

• Clear communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner to various stakeholders.

• Experience supporting various digital manufacturing systems including Syncade and OSI Pi.

• Experience working in an operational GxP facility, demonstrating a strong understanding of the regulations and standards in this environment.

• Proficiency in IT networking, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize.

• Understanding of biopharmaceutical processes and equipment.

• Ability to quickly adapt and learn new skills and technologies.
