About The Role

Due to internal promotions, we have a unique opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our team. The Management Accountant position provides support to our Rottnest Express and Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventure businesses in a true finance partnering model. This role reports to the Finance Manager – Marine & Aviation and there is flexibility for the role to be based in either Perth or Broome, WA.

This role involves partnering with key stakeholders in the businesses by providing real-time, accurate and meaningful financial information designed to drive strategies and commercial decisions which maximise value and minimise risk. This is a hands-on role that would suit a results focused individual who is passionate about delivering a high level of financial support.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Month end accounting, performance analysis and reporting
• Monitoring and understanding operations and business performance to identify key issues and ensuring actions are taken to address budget shortfalls
• Assisting with annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Preparing monthly management reports for business leaders and department managers including P&L’s, cost, labour reports, KPI’s and financial metrics
• Providing day to day support and business partnering services to the broader Rottnest Express and Horizontal Falls teams, ensuring clear visibility on cost drivers to drive efficiency performance and drive profit improvement
• Supporting on business case modelling
• Supporting inventory reporting and analysis including stocktakes and wastage reports
• Identifying, developing, implementing reporting and process improvements
• Building collaborative working relationships across Finance and the broader organisation and utilising data to assist in decision making
• Facilitating the link between head office and the businesses by coordinating appropriate access to support and ensuring effective communication on business issues and central finance policies and requirements

About You

You will have degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with CA/CPA (or in progress) along with previous experience in management accounting, financial analysis, financial systems and modelling. You will be able to prepare and use data to aid and influence business decisions, have effective problem-solving skills and be able to build collaborative relationships with various stakeholders.

You will be reliable, professional, organised and show initiative, while also demonstrating a strong customer service orientation and have exceptional business acumen.

About the Role (your why)

Our Customer Delivery team is the part of the business where you can influence internally within our delivery teams and work closely with the customer to meet their business requirements. You can be proactive, innovative and look at ways to improve people’s lives through technology.

As Service Delivery Coordinator, you will play a key part in ensuring that all contracted services are delivered to clients in accordance with contracts. The Service Delivery Coordinator provides a single point of contact for customers in relation to the provision of contracted services and is responsible for aligning the customers’ requirements and expectations with Datacom’s service levels. You will support customers end to end, as well as work in conjunction with the Service Delivery Managers to provide support for Datacom’s larger customer base.

This role can be based in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney (however we may also consider Perth). What you’ll bring

We are looking for someone with approximately 1 year of IT experience, preferably from within an IT managed services environment. You’ll be passionate about customer experience, be organised, and understand service delivery and SLA conformance.

Ideally you’ll have a good grasp of service management methodologies including ITIL, along with a sound understanding of technical concepts and frameworks. You will have excellent verbal and written communication and your customer relationship building and management skills will be second to none. Project management experience or exposure would be a huge advantage.

SGS is seeking a dedicated Graduate Chemist to join our Natural Recourses – Geochem team primarily based in Perth.

This role offers the opportunity to supplement your tertiary education with practical experience in a production environment of a commercial laboratory, in both Perth and regional locations.

Responsibilities include, however are not limited to:

• Perform analyses in accordance with established procedures to ensure analytical integrity and quality.
• Actively participate in a structured program to develop relevant skills and knowledge.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation safely according to authorized work instructions.
• Comply with, and assist in maintaining, the laboratory’s Quality Management System.
• On occasions, may be required to relocate or provide temporary cover to other sites.
• Work to improve operating efficiency of equipment and instrumentation and analytical quality data.
• Ensure samples submitted to section are analyzed promptly, accurately, and precisely.
• Develop skills to achieve unsupervised operator status on equipment including troubleshooting skills and keeping equipment and section in good state of repair.

• Conducting field observations and occupational hygiene assessments
• Performing inspections for hazardous material
• Monitoring Indoor and outdoor air quality 
• Preparing technical reports and hazardous management plans
• Provide governance in health and hygiene related incidents and IH monitoring results exceedances investigations, managing their records and provide the necessary recommendations/actions (Engineering and Administrative controls, PPE management) to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
