Fitter Maintenance/Mechanic [WA]

• Full time position based at our branch office in South Guildford, WA
• $90,000 - $100,000 per annum base (depending on experience)
Tutt Bryant Equipment is the national distributor of Metso Crushing and Screening equipment and is seeking a professional Fitter Maintenance/Mechanic to join its WA team based in South Guildford.
This position will be responsible for providing both inhouse and field repair and maintenance support to a client base utilising Metso Crushing and Screening equipment.
The essential tasks of this role include:
• Diagnosing faults in and performing operational maintenance of Metso Crushing and Screening equipment
• Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts
• Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
• Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of equipment and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
• Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
• Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers
• May erect machines and equipment on-site
The skills and experience required for this role are:
• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV
• At least two [2] years work experience
• Safe working track record
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work unsupervised and
• Ability to work within a team environment
• White Card (Construction Industry)
• Able to pass a Pre–employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Excellent Time Management
• Good Communication and Literacy
• Flexibility
• Valid Drivers Licence
An attractive remuneration package is on offer for this position with a base salary of $90,000-$100,000 (depending on the level of experience) and other company-provided items and benefits.
