• Costing damage to equipment & advising client of damage & costs for repairs

About the Role

This role will be providing key packaging services to one of our largest customers. As part of a broader team, you will be responding to contracted and project requests.

What you will do

As an Applications Packager you will:

• Software packaging and repackaging. This will cover from discovery through to deployment support
• Package based on BAU tickets as well as project

What you’ll bring

You will have 5 years’ IT industry experience, preferably within an IT managed service provider, with approximately 3 years’ experience in a similar Application Packaging role. You will have exceptional knowledge of packaging tools, InstallShield, PACE etc. You will possess exceptional knowledge of Windows 10, 11 and MacOS operating systems. You will have knowledgeable skills in endpoint management platforms, System Centre Configuration Manager, Intune, VMware Workspace ONE and Jamf.

You will bring exceptional troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and prioritisation skills; and will be comfortable and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision. You will be comfortable with rapid change and be available to travel to Datacom, customer sites and conferences when required.

They will be paired with and mentor a small group of innovators as well as contributing to the knowledge, structure, approach and events of the broader commercialisation program. 

As a Venture Builder you will be an integral part of your local Drought and Innovation Hub, collaborating with a team of 8 peers across Australia. In the role, you will: 

• Collaborate with the other Venture Builders, and the Head of Ventures to deliver commercialisation support, coaching and mentoring to each cohort of innovators 
• Guide innovators through building a commercialisation plan and supporting the innovators towards effective business, market and customer development; this may include go-to market plans, and trial support

They will be responsible for the coordination and organisation of venture studio programs launched under Beanstalk Ventures. The first landmark studio program is the Drought Venture Studio. You will be leading the design and operation of the Drought Venture Studio’s internal operating system. This is not a copy and paste, we are looking for a leader who we can entrust to really take the reins and own the creation a high-performance workflow to underpin the world-first Drought Venture Studio.

• Build the operational workflow for key activities including (but not limited to):

1.      Digital content creation and delivery: Experience in creating engaging content in a variety of formats for a range of channels, including web, social, email. Experience of developing and delivering successful multi-channel content campaigns.

In this role, you will support the Head of Ventures in managing the Drought Venture Studio. Over the course of 1.5 years, there will be 8 shortlisted entrepreneurs who will require bespoke venture support. As Lead Venture Architect, you will get your boots and strategic brain dirty, jumping into the trenches to support the most promising drought resilience innovation technology solutions that we identify. You will work directly with the venture founder to place a dedicated CXO and be responsible for building high performing startup teams through coaching, mentoring and supporting the leadership team.  

You will also deploy your startup skills and knowledge across a range of impact-focused opportunities. In this role, you will:

About the Beanstalk Drought Venture Studio: 

Australia is one of the driest continents on earth, yet we have a vibrant agricultural sector that constantly adapts to climate change challenges - necessity has made us amazing innovators. This resourcefulness makes Australia the natural home for our Drought Venture Studio.  

This world first partnership between the Commonwealth - through its Future Drought Fund - and Beanstalk AgTech will identify problems from the ground up and develop and fund solutions through practical commercialisation. Beanstalk will work with the eight Drought Innovation Hubs across Australia and industry to enable the creation of new startups and technological innovation in response to drought.  

The program’s mission is to support nearly 100 commercial solutions, and to back 8 high growth ventures over the next 2 years, positioning Australia as a global leader on drought and climate solutions to agricultural resilience. 

About the role:

We are hiring a Comms & Community Lead for Beanstalk Ventures on a fixed term contract. Your role will be to establish a clear strategy for communications and building bespoke communities that ultimately underpin the Drought Venture Studio’s ability to support the growth and impact of innovators delivering drought-resilient solutions. 

You will be working closely with the Studio Operations Lead, Studio Director and Head of Ventures to develop a cohesive series of activations such as (but not limited to); thought leadership, community events, formalised investor communities, campaigns, digital marketing plan and event activations etc. 

In this role you will be the glue that binds the ambitions of the Drought Venture Studio into a self actualising tribe of innovators, producers, investors, experts and influencers. This role will work with the team across Australia to help spread the story to attract the best talent from Australia and abroad.  

In this role you will: 

• Develop and deliver the communication strategy for the Drought Venture Studio 
• Work with the Head of Ventures, strategically positioning the program’s communication activities to maximise program reach and engagement 
• Manage the contracted PR firm and graphics designer to clearly articulate and amplify our message and mission 
• Position the Venture Studio as a world leading program through thought leadership and co-authoring pieces that contribute to supporting the program’s narrative 
• Engage with Venture Builders to find stories to share through the course of the Venture Studio 
• Enabling and supporting all 8 Venture Builders in each capital city to build a trusted community and relationship with the leading agrifood companies in their region 
• Build and maintain a supportive community around the Drought Venture Studio and its startups, including taking a lead on network outreach with the Head of Ventures  
• Specifically, you will develop and maintain a strategic engagement framework for key stakeholders of the program. This includes: 

1. Founder pipeline 
2. Investor community – local and international with an active interest in climate, drought, and AgTech 
3. Corporate community and industry bodies – for sponsorship and partnering opportunities 
4. Technical exports – to support in the validation and mentoring of ventures 
5. Establish an alumni network for program participants to ensure that they continue to receive support and guidance through mentors and the broader program network

About the role

As a casual relief Chef, you will support our kitchen team with end-to-end kitchen operations for our lunch cruises, dinner cruises and private charters, which seat up to 80 guests on a set menu.

Working independently and often unsupervised, you will be hands-on in preparing and cooking all dishes, ensuring the highest standard and quality of food production for our guests, and that the kitchen meets all regulations including hygiene and food safety guidelines.

A standard working day may be up to 12 hours between 8:30am – 11:00pm, across any of the seven days in the calendar week, including weekends and public holidays. Shifts commence and finish each day at Jones Bay Wharf in Pyrmont.
