Kelton Rentals is a family-owned earthmoving equipment hire business that deliver quality rental machinery and outstanding customer service.. Based in Queanbeyan we provide an extensive range of Earthmoving Dry Hire machinery in Canberra and surrounding areas, including South Coast, Snowy Mountains and Western NSW.

We support builders, plumbers, landscapers, councils, government, civil contractors, and earthmoving companies with reliable, high-performance earthmoving equipment.

We require an operations coordinator that will help us in exceeding our client expectations by delivering great customer service and ensuring that all customer orders are completed and ready in the required time frame.

The candidate will be responsible for performing the day-to-day activities to assure great customer relationships, expedite the delivery of customer orders, breakdowns & clients request with operating machines & attachments. 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the operations team - mechanics, delivery drivers & yard team 
  • Scheduling services on all equipment 
  • Co-ordinating equipment maintenance & repairs with mechanical team
  • Organising on site repairs & breakdowns
  • Ensure deliveries & collections are keeping to schedules 
  • Checking equipment is going through all the returns & ready for rental procedures.
  • Assist with office staff booking in machines, answering phone calls & preparing rental agreements & off hires
  • Costing damage to equipment & advising client of damage & costs for repairs 
  • Ordering parts for scheduled servicing, breakdowns & repairs

  • Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functional groups
  • Excellent planning and organising skills 
  • Resilient and adaptable with the ability to be decisive and work constructively under pressure
  • Innovative with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong self-awareness and insight
  • Work hours 6.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
  • 100% non smoking/vaping while on duty including breaks.
  • Heavy vehicle licence is beneficial
