Come and discover the opportunity to join our Digital, Services and Manufacturing Excellence team in Port Kembla as a Digital Maintenance Coordinator. At BlueScope, we deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers. As a part of this transformation journey, ASP Manufacturing will act as the lead location for delivering Asset Intelligence across BlueScope’s manufacturing footprint. Asset Intelligence is centred on incorporating i4.0 technologies into our asset management processes to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of our Manufacturing Assets.
This unique opportunity will implement and integrate advanced technical solutions supplied by various vendors that will provide the foundation for predictive maintenance. You will support the implementation of the predictive maintenance platform across ASP Manufacturing.

What Will You Do?
As you become the subject matter expert for the predictive maintenance platform, you’ll ensure the streamlined implementation of the project. You will also:
- work with relevant plant personnel to select assets suitable for predictive maintenance
- build suitable predictive maintenance models for this equipment
- implement appropriate equipment monitoring via IoT sensors and existing signals
- support the move from preventative to predictive maintenance for BlueScope’s assets
- work as part of the team and interface with key people across BlueScope’s global manufacturing footprint
More About You
You’ll bring your technical skills and experience in maintenance of equipment. You’ll enjoy taking ownership for your work and contributing to the larger team. You will also bring:
- a degree or trade plus additional training in Engineering (ie. mechanical, mechatronics, electrical etc.) or technical discipline
- an enthusiasm to learn new skills and develop yourself in the role
- an interest in IoT devices, predictive maintenance and potential applications
- developed communication and influencing skills - building constructive and effective relationships
- an understanding of asset and equipment reliability
- an understanding of maintenance management systems and asset utilisation
