We are seeking an experienced and Trade qualified Field Service Technician, with a main responsibility of servicing, fault-finding and breakdown requests to join our Bosch Rexroth group in Adelaide, South Australia.

Position Tasks:

• Respond to external service and breakdown requests.
• Installation and commissioning on large hydraulic projects.
• Serves our customers’ needs to be studying the system requirement and developing proactive responses to faults, maintenance or modernisation topics.
• Fault-finding diagnosis and product analysis reporting.
• Hydraulic system fault finding and testing.
• Ordering and gathering components, installation, performing tests, identifying further repairs, identify any spare parts opportunities.
• Maintaining customer confidentiality.
• Prepare service quotations and follow up the customer.
• Upload all relevant External Service documentation including vendor quotations, delivery dockets, service quotations, service reports.
• Ensures quality control through documenting of tests and installations including the supplying of customer documentation.
• Conduct on-site inspections, repairs, installations and testing on Hydraulic components and associated equipment.
• Regular customer contact and client management, offering best solution.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn the Electrical trade and build product knowledge of Bosch Rexroth Electrical equipment through on the job training, installation, and testing. You will work pro-actively to ensure departmental cost efficiencies are maintained, quality and safety standards are achieved, and customer delivery deadlines are met. Additionally, you will assist in maintenance related tasks that support plant reliability and building improvements.

Specific tasks for this role include:

• Ensuring all HSE procedures are followed and incidents are reported accordingly
• Building Electrical cabinets as per required standards
• Fitting out Power units with Electrical devices and Cable tray
• Assisting in building and maintenance related activities
• Maintaining a clean work area at all times
• Committing oneself to completing the trade school portion of the Electrical apprenticeship.

The Opportunity

Orrcon Steel is looking for a Warehouse Team Members to join our team based in Marsden Park. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands. 

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll play an important part in our warehouse operations, performing a range of tasks including loading and unloading products on and off trucks, picking and packing, as well as general despatch/warehouse duties.

We currently have multiple, full time, permanent positions across varied shifts (please be sure to note your preference in your application):

• Day shift 7:00am – 3:06pm (primary tasks include unloading trucks)
• Afternoon Shift 3:00pm -11:06pm (primary tasks include picking and packing product for dispatch)

You don’t have to come from a steel background. Full training will be provided as part of the comprehensive induction program, and ongoing support to learn all aspects of the role allowing for future career development opportunities. Key Objective of the role:

As a Casual Swann Brand Ambassador you will be the designated Swann expert within your assigned stores and work with your Manager and other key stores within your territory to deliver an exceptional Swann customer experience to store staff and customers that leads to sales.
