Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute the association’s long-term strategic plan, ensuring alignment with industry needs and trends.

• Drive initiatives that enhance the association’s visibility and influence within the industry, government, and broader public.

• Build and lead a high-performing team by providing clear leadership, direction and support to employees, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities.

• Set clear and ambitious team OKRs and KPIs in relation to key success drivers, and take swift and decisive action in case of underperformance.

Public Affairs and Advocacy:

• Lead the association’s advocacy efforts, representing the interests of members to government bodies, regulators, and other key stakeholders.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with policymakers, regulators, and influencers to shape policies and legislation that benefit the industry.

• Collaborate with the Board and relevant committees to develop and promote policy positions, white papers, and thought leadership initiatives.

• Monitor industry trends, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring the association is proactive in addressing issues that impact the industry and members.

• Oversee the organisation of events, workshops, and conferences that address industry needs and enhance the association’s reputation and reach.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:

• Foster partnerships and collaborations with other industry bodies, research institutions, and international organisations to promote knowledge sharing and best practices.

• Serve as the primary spokesperson for the association, representing the organisation at public forums, media engagements, industry conferences, and networking events.

• Develop strong relationships with industry leaders, CEOs, and other key stakeholders to build a robust network of supporters.

Membership Engagement and Growth:

• Increase member engagement by delivering value-driven programs, services, and opportunities for networking, education, and business growth.
