At FCX the Solutions Architect key purpose is to bring ideas to life. They achieve their purpose by working with the business to formulate requirements to achieve results. This is across Web, Mobile and Java modern backend micro-services running in AWS applied to the finance and investment domain where technology provides the key competitive advantage.

This specific Solutions Architect position will see you work closely within a team of 15 that comprises of BA’s, PM’s, Software Engineers, Product Owners and Client Relationship Managers. This role is also part of and supported by the FinClear group which consist of 180 employees, 70 specifically being in tech.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Analyzing problems and applying technology to solve them.
• Defining the relevant types of requirements and working with teams to illicit them.
• Estimating solutions and designing development teams to deliver against the requirements.
• Leading teams from a technical standpoint to ensure delivery against requirements.
• Collaborating with technology vendors and third-party development teams to deliver solutions.
• Writing program documentation for third party technical consumption of the organizations public API’s.
• Hands on development/ support of micro service architecture along with client/ server programming in Java, JavaScript technologies on AWS, queue and RDMS infrastructure.
• Influencing and selling ideas to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
• Mentor Software Engineers and Testers.
• Ensure sufficient level of security and encryption are applied.
• Code Reviews and quality improvements.

We have an opportunity available for an experienced Events Food a Beverage attendant/waitstaff to join our events team. To be successful in this role you will have banqueting & events experience including bumping in/out. You will be confident with your service skills for both alternative drop plated functions as well as roving canapes. Explaining dishes, confirming dietary requirements and confidentially carrying a tray of wine glasses is something that you do in your stride. If you have Bartender experience we may be able to utilise your Bartending skills too.

The Technical Business Analyst will interact and support the Senior Business Analyst. They will be accountable for breaking down the epic into features, interpreting high level requirements and breaking them down to user stories. They own the definition and implementation of a team’s backlog. This typically involve collaborating with the delivery squad to maximum value is delivered to customer/end user by prioritizing the most important items to start first.

As a Technical Business Analyst at BizCover, you will be reponsible for:

• Conducting the main Agile ceremonies in Team retro, Sprint review, planning & grooming
• Ensuring that user stories are ready to be estimated and worked on by the developers.
• Assisting the developers and the quality assurance team in delivering the agreed user stories (i.e. 3-way handshake) and verify that solutions will meet business requirements.
• Facilitating key meetings including requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training.
