Our valued client Western Australian Fabrication based in Kwinana WA, is seeking an experienced Painting Trades Person to join their friendly team of professionals.
The role includes but is not limited to:
• Understand surface preparation and finishes.
• Proper handling of all vehicles giving it due care and detailed attention
• Be able to understand and complete works to specifications.
• Be able to mix correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.
• Proper appropriation of consumables and materials to avoid wastage
• Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
• Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.
• Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Erecting scaffolding and ladders.
• Cleaning equipment and work areas.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
• Trade Certificate –Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent (for Blaster/Painters)
• High Risk Licence for EWP and/or Forklift
• Trade Qualifications in Protective Coatings (ACA, NACE, ICorr, or other trade certs)
• HR licence, high risk licence with EWP and Forklift
• Drivers Licence (MR or HR class)

Salary: Guaranteed annual earnings of at least $70,000 + Super
