We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Coordinator for the Australian and New Zealand markets, who will play a crucial role in driving regional marketing initiatives focusing on multi-channel lead generation, PR activities and Events. 
 

This role is ideal for a dynamic and proactive individual with a strong understanding of the local market and a passion for sustainability and energy efficiency. You will work closely with local distributors, large installers, and the regional sales team to execute marketing strategies that align with Smappee’s global goals while catering to the specific needs of the Australian market. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• You drive growth marketing efforts, including list building, content creation, and campaign execution (email campaigns, social media, paid advertising, cold calling) tailored to the Australian and New Zealand market. 

• You prepare a content longlist based on regional news and trends, and revise and localize global content to ensure relevance and impact in the local market. 

• You help build targeted media list and contacts.  

• You act as local media contact, localize press releases. 

• You scout and evaluate potential trade shows and manage Smappee’s participation, ensuring maximum exposure and lead generation.  

• You plan and execute local partner events to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders. 

• You develop and implement co-marketing initiatives with local distributors and large installers to boost brand visibility and sales. 

• You lead the marketing onboarding process for large partners and customers, ensuring they are fully integrated and aligned with Smappee’s brand and offering. 

• You act as the main point-of-contact for the regional sales team, delivering marketing support and ensuring seamless alignment with the global marketing strategy and brand guidelines. 

• You regularly communicate with the HQ marketing team to ensure local strategies are aligned with global objectives and to share insights from the Australian market. 

• You manage local social mediaplanning and community management as the role evolves. 

• You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in B2B(2C) marketing, with a focus on growth marketing and regional execution. 

• You have a strong understanding of the Australian and New Zealand markets, particularly in the energy or charging sectors. 

• You have excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. 

• You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively between regional and global teams. 

• You are proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for sustainability and energy efficiency. 

• You have strong copywriting skills. 

• You have the ability to create use cases from local success. 

• You have strong organizational skills to coordinate training sessions with the team.

We are looking for a new Account Executive who will join our dedicated BizCover for Broker department who are responsible for delivering a first-class service to all brokers who are in contact with the business. The broker platform is a high-tech platform that makes insurance look easy, offers transparency and efficiency and is completely unique to the insurance industry. 

This role is responsible for strengthening existing relationships with our brokers as well carrying out administrative functions.  We need someone who is confident, hungry and can thrive in a busy environment to meet business deadlines.

Day to day responsibilities -

• Manage a high volume of telephone calls and email leads from both brokers (inbound/outbound) and internal consultants.
• Ensure all broker requests are managed within agreed service standards whilst also adhering to the process requirements of the business.

• Work closely with the underwriting team to find solutions for brokers who have referrals or renewals in special circumstances.
• Actively follow up / convert New Business Leads that come into the team daily
• Ensure that a high level of product, process and systems knowledge is always maintained
• Report back to the business on broker / product feedback
• Continually promote the features and benefits of BizCover for brokers platform
• Responsible for all policy maintenance, policy documentation and educating brokers in the benefits of BizCover for Brokers platform.

• Tier 1 or 2 in General Insurance Broking is desirable but not essential
• 1 to 2 years Insurance experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and high levels of attention to detail, accuracy and professionalism
• Previous experience in a similar role ie Broker Assistant, Underwriting Assistance, Senior Account Executive etc.
• Capable of working on various computer systems.

The Role: 

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Solutions Analyst who has robust infrastructure experience to join our Technology team. 

As the Senior Infrastructure & Solutions Analyst, you’ll be responsible for providing analytical support, assisting with technical solution design and co-ordination to support the evolution of the NPP real-time payments platform.   

We’re a relatively small organisation with a flat structure, so this role will be hands on. This will involve day-to-day collaboration of the NPP Technology Delivery, Engineering, Architecture, Data Platforms and other cross functional teams to support the ongoing capability development and strategic initiatives and ensure the smooth the day-to-day operational functioning of the infrastructure.  

The capabilities we’re seeking are: 

• Sound Technical Analysis experience (5+ years) preferably in a payments environment  

• Strong infrastructure and project delivery experience, including infrastructure projects or application migration. 

• Detailed understanding of any of the following: high availability and resilient solutions, cloud native solutions, data warehouse systems, event streaming system (e.g. Kafka), high-throughput systems, volumetric analysis and modelling. 

• NPP (or similar) knowledge at systems or operational level would be an advantage.  

• Influencing stakeholder attitudes, decisions, and actions for mutual benefit.
