BizCover is a leading global InsureTech, providing Small Businesses with the simplest way to get their business insurance sorted.
We are looking for a new Account Executive who will join our dedicated BizCover for Broker department who are responsible for delivering a first-class service to all brokers who are in contact with the business. The broker platform is a high-tech platform that makes insurance look easy, offers transparency and efficiency and is completely unique to the insurance industry.
This role is responsible for strengthening existing relationships with our brokers as well carrying out administrative functions. We need someone who is confident, hungry and can thrive in a busy environment to meet business deadlines.
Our broker platform is highly successful and has huge opportunities to grow and bring in more revenue, so you will be part of a high performing team having a direct impact on the business.
Day to day responsibilities -
- Manage a high volume of telephone calls and email leads from both brokers (inbound/outbound) and internal consultants.
- Ensure all broker requests are managed within agreed service standards whilst also adhering to the process requirements of the business.
- Work closely with the underwriting team to find solutions for brokers who have referrals or renewals in special circumstances.
- Actively follow up / convert New Business Leads that come into the team daily
- Ensure that a high level of product, process and systems knowledge is always maintained
- Report back to the business on broker / product feedback
- Continually promote the features and benefits of BizCover for brokers platform
- Responsible for all policy maintenance, policy documentation and educating brokers in the benefits of BizCover for Brokers platform.
- Tier 1 or 2 in General Insurance Broking is desirable but not essential
- 1 to 2 years Insurance experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and high levels of attention to detail, accuracy and professionalism
- Previous experience in a similar role ie Broker Assistant, Underwriting Assistance, Senior Account Executive etc.
- Capable of working on various computer systems.
- Someone who takes initiative and is business savvy to find new ways to maximize opportunities

- Hybrid working model with flexibility to work from home 3 days a week and 2 days a week in the CBD office or work totally remote if outside of Sydney.
