About you Along with a commitment to improving service delivery and integration, you will also have the following:

Appropriate tertiary qualification in related clinical health profession (Allied Health or Nursing)
Current FIM credentialing or work towards within 3 months of commencement of role
Hold a current Victorian Driver's License
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Recent clinical experience within rehabilitation
Recent leadership and/or management experience
Demonstrated understanding and commitment to delivering patient-centred care
High level of self-motivation and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Demonstrated skill in clinical decision-making, problem identification and solution, and analysis and interpretation of the changing health status of patients
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and a proven track record of service enhancement and an ability to participate in and effect change
Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
Superior organisational and time management skills
Demonstrated high level communication skills- both written and verbal
Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to evidence-based practice
Strong understanding of private health funding models specific to rehabilitation
Sound computer skills

Guhring Australia is seeking to expand its cutting tool production workforce at its facility based in Mulgrave.

About the position
The position is full time 40 hours per week.
Salary Range $70,000 to $75,000

Tasks & Responsibilities
• Responsible for programming and machining of casted metal parts associated with our products in the CNC lathes and Horizontal Milling machine.
• To have the ability to read a machining drawings and specifications, assess the metal casting and determine best method and sequence of operations/machine settings to produce a finished/completed item at the highest quality.
• Checking of completed machined parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments.
• To be efficient in the machining of metal castings (time and quality).
• Forming metal stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore and drill metal.
• Flexible in the machining processes and able to adapt to changes – to increase efficiency without compromising quality.
• Ensure that all finished/completed product are suitable for use.
• Participate in continuous improvement in the company processes.
• Ensure general house keeping, clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications & experience (but not limited to)
• Holds a mechanical trade certificate or equivalent
• Has a minimum of 2 years experience
• Knowledge of Andronic and Numroto software is an advantage
• Good communication skills
• Proven focus on a Safe Working Environment
• Well driven with a good work ethic.
• Work as part of a team or autonomously should the need arise
• Can read engineering technical drawings.
