Staff4Me is currently seeking a skilled STL Test1 Engineer to join our team. As an STL Test1 Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through thorough testing and defect analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
• Execute test cases and test scripts, and analyze test results to identify defects and improve overall quality.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand software functionality and edge cases.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing.
• Identify, document, and report defects using bug tracking systems.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on design and implementation.
• Evaluate and recommend testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in software testing.

• 3+ years of experience as an STL Test1 Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Expertise in test planning, test case design, and test execution.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Java, C#, or Python.
• Proficiency in using test automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience with API testing and knowledge of API testing tools.
• Ability to analyze complex software requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
