Position Overview:

We are currently looking for a Hospital Housekeeper to join us at ARH Brisbane for our busiest time of the year, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for both animals and staff. This role is Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 12:30pm.

To be successful in this position you must possess the following attributes:

• Previous cleaning experience required
• Experience cleaning within a healthcare setting advantageous 
• Able to work autonomously when required
• Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• A friendly, team player attitude
• Ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks to suit the needs of the hospital
• High attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Regular cleaning and disinfecting of all hospital areas, including staff areas
• Sanitising floors, surfaces, and bathrooms throughout the day as required
• Disposing of waste and emptying bins as required
• Daily laundry upkeep 
• Cleaning of patient dishes

• Build and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams and relevant stakeholders across hierarchy
